Marvel Comics has been all over the news the last couple of days, here’s a quick recap:
The first bi of news came when the publisher announced on ABC’s “The View” that the new wielder of Mjolnir would be a woman. Then last night Joe “I Helped Ruin Marvel” Quesada went on The Colbert Report to announce that Sam Wilson, (better known as the Falcon) is the new Captain America.
Big news indeed, and I look forward to reading both versions. I’m sure some people will have issues with characters changing. But hey, its comics, it’s probably not permanent anyway.
My big question here, is why weren’t these announcements saved for next week’s San Diego Comic-Con?
Oh right, I almost forgot: because San Diego Comic-Con is more about movies than comics. My bad.
