John, you cursed brat! Look what you’ve done! I’m melting! melting! Oh, what a world! What a world!
Who would have thought a goofball like you could destroy my fantasy season?
John’s Crusty Jugglers might have to hire a conductor because their train is a-rolling on the right track! They recorded the second-highest point total in the league this week in addition to sealing their third win in as many matchups when they upset my Tacos Al Carbon 179.28 to 175.18. John’s streak is the result of some high scoring by Crusty Jugglers, who owns the highest overall point total in the league this season and is averaging 221.17 points per matchup.
Meanwhile, Tacos Al Carbon goes to 0-3 and holds steady in sixth place. Otherwise known as last freaking place. The last time I was 0-3 was seven or eight years ago.
It should be noted my quarterbacks are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson. And I’m still ins last place! What a world indeed.
Lacie and casus04 recorded the highest score in the league this week when she gave Team Furiated the beating they deserved 222.78 to 164.66. Team Furiated failed to live up to expectations and scored only 76.9% of a projected 214.25, while casus04 put up 13.1% more points than projected (196.94). Team Furiated had two players rank highly this week. Drew Brees scored 38.02 points while Rashad Jennings put up 34.60.
When assigning blame following this loss, Furiated can look in the mirror. And after he tells himself how pretty he is, he can ask himself why he started a player with zero points (Arian Foster).
With the win, Lacie (2-1) remains in third place while Team Furiated (2-1) holds on to second place.
In the league’s other matchup, defending champions Jim led his Dark12h8 squad to their first win of the year. Jimbo got the third-highest point total of the week from Matt Ryan to sneak by Laneit’s TNU (1-2) 170.74 to 165.30.
Jim was the first to put points on the board and by Sunday was already in front 53.14 to 0. They gave up that lead after the late Sunday games and were behind 130.00 to 115.14. Things looked god for Lanet as he celebrated with some run. However, Jim ended story time and closed the book on the matchup with a huge comeback on Monday.Jim’s now 1-2 and in fifth place. While Laneit is holding on to fourth place.
