I know some of you are probably wondering why there’s little to no posting this week. The truth is, we had a death in the family last weekend. My wifey’s uncle passed away suddenly on Saturday night, but we didn’t find out until the next morning.
He’d had a health scare a few years back, but we (and he) thought everything was going okay health wise. We even had plans to go see the Transporter reboot next week. Anyways, due to several issues, his funeral won’t take place until tomorrow afternoon. Which in a way is good, because the extra time has allowed more family members to get into town. But as you can imagine, this has been one long week for everyone involved.
Know you know, and knowing is half the battle. But before I go I was want to say to Mac: You are, and will always be missed. I’m glad we got to know each other over the last few years. It was always fun talking movies and comics with you, and I’m glad I was able to take you to your first comiccon last year. and I will always remember how you forgot your name when you met one of the cosplayers.
Everyone grieves in their own way, or so I’ve been told. But is it bad that when I heard the news, my first thought was “Oh no, he never finished watching Sense8!” Oh well, I’m sure even Mac is laughing about that one, and that he didn’t get to see the new Star Wars.
