Unless you grew up in the 1980s, you have no idea what an insane time this was in music. Some of the music from the decade was bad enough, but the music videos were even worse!
You truly had to be there, otherwise nothing about the decade’s music videos will make sense: all the guys wore makeup, almost everyone had on shoulder pads, all the rock videos were the same, and for most pop videos, Broadway-style dancing was mandatory.
Last night on YouTube, I decided to watch a playlist of random 80’s hits. Many of videos I already knew from my younger days, like Rick Astley, the Human League, and of course, Michael Jackson.
But then, I witnessed a video from a group that I’ve never heard of before. A video so bad you have to see it to believe it. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you what I think is the worst music video of all time: “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul” by Modern Talking.
